The hardest working man in Evans City, PA is at it again. Gary Streiner is getting his ghoul on with four more guests he’s added to this August’s Living Dead Festival.
Those familiar with the history of The Latent Image, the company behind NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, will be familiar with the name Richard Ricci. Even if you’re not, you’ll know him from the picture above. You’ll also recognize John Kirch, another “first convention ever” guest, a younger ghoul compared to the more seasoned flesh eaters.
Joining Richard and John, Terry Gindele and Herbert Summer return to the LDF. Both attended the ’09 LDF, which was one of the best convention experiences I’ve ever had.
These four join Gary’s first round of four guests: Judith O’Dea, Russell Streiner, Bill Cardille and Judith Ridley. The guest list is a gathering like no other, and only likely to get better.
And as a fan of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, it would be impossible not to have a great time meeting guests you’ll likely never meet outside of the Evans City borders at the LDF. Gary’s putting together a unique experience for the stalwarts of all ages who find George Romero’s first film to be a landmark not only in horror, but in filmmaking in general.
The Living Dead Festival takes place in EDCO Park in Evans City, PA on August 30-31. Click here to get the full lowdown.
I’ll provide more details as I get them. You have two months to book your air fare and hotel to the greater Pittsburgh area. Don’t hesitate. Be there and get your ghoul on too.
