X Chris is many things: English teacher, film critic, athlete, teacher of life. He’s recently added talent rep to his list, with his trip to Cinema Wasteland in Strongsville, OH this weekend. Repping his friend and client, Academy Award winning makeup effects guy John Caglione, the two drove to Wasteland so John could meet his fans and the two could promote DEADTENTION, our film project.
I expected them to have a great time. What I didn’t expect was that X would get a pair of actors to commit to roles in DEADTENTION.

James Lorinz
Charlotte Kemp
As X sat near FRANKENHOOKER stars James Lorinz and Charlotte Kemp, our script became a hot topic of discussion. Lorinz, the star of Henenlotter’s bizarre, sexual take on Frankenstein, and Kemp, who plays a gorgeous hooker, were both so enthralled with what they read, they committed to take parts. Lorinz is hyped to possibly play Russo, a film teacher who views Hollywood as real life, and yearns to be an action hero. Kemp speaks fluent Italian, and would be a perfect fit for our foreign language teacher, Ms. Fulci.
Lloyd Kaufman
Joe Pilato
Lorinz and Kemp add their names to a list of Lloyd Kaufman and Joe Pilato, who’ve already committed to playing the principal and assistant principal of the world’s worst run high school. Kaufman is the president of Troma Studios and creator of the Toxic Avenger. Pilato will forever be remembered as the evil Capt. Rhodes in Romero’s DAY OF THE DEAD. It’ll be the darkest day of detention the school has ever known! When a zombie outbreak threatens to take down the school, will even the bell schedule save our intrepid cast.
You’ll only find out once we’re able to start on production. We need money to do that, so here’s your perfect chance to get in on the ground floor of a low budget horror comedy that’s already lining up an impressive cast, and will boast special makeup effects by Oscar winner Caglione.
