For Your Pleasure… Death Ensemble Doodads

As I strive constantly to enhance your Death Ensemble experience, I’m happy to report that we’ve made a few alterations and additions to DE the last few days.  These changes will give you more ability to interact with the site, and give us a more cutting edge visual.  They also give me the chance to use the word “doodad,” which I dig.

Here are the doodads:

Bloody borders- When I consulted with staff writer Nicole Fiss on the previous borders, she said they made the site’s pics look like old Polaroids.  So it relieves me that I found, quite accidentally, the “bloody borders” that now wrap around every pic on the site.  White lettering stands out in stark contrast, and the frames now offer you a bolder look.

“Like” button- We hope you love every article you read on DE, as we put a lot of work into producing the highest quality product for you.  If you enjoy a piece, please click the “like” button, which will tell your Facebook buddies that they should be reading it too.

Social media sharing- If you want to take it one step further, you can share our pieces on three different platforms.  Just click on the Facebook, Twitter or the Digg robot inside the quote bubble, and your friends can get in on the bloodbath.

Rating- Use the blood red star system to rate any piece, from 1-star awful all the way through 5-star excellence.  As we’re in our infancy as a website, we’re still trying some things out (such as the Piece by Piece articles).  So it helps to know if you want to see more, or if we should bury the body so far down, nobody will ever know.

We hope that, coupled with our top notch content,  the Death Ensemble doodads will entice you and your friends to check out the web’s prime new horror site, and that you keep coming back.

Be cool,

Big Evil
